I grew up writing stories, poems and journals rather than painting or drawing. I was surprised to find in my adult years a watery language that spoke to me like a tranquil meditation. Watercolor painting has helped me reach a peaceful place inside myself. In painting I have found a harbor where I can rest my worries and feel productive, rejuvenated and truly calm.
My intuitive style is a mixture of abstract and impressionistic. My artwork is inspired by memories, music, imagination, occasionally photos and plein air.
